POWER ON / OFF

POWER ON

Press and hold the PLAY / PAUSE-button for more then 2 seconds.

POWER OFF

Make sure the player is set to Pause. Then press and hold the PLAY / PAUSE

button for more then 2 seconds.

HOLD

Use the HOLD button to activate and deactivate Hold. When Hold is activated

the player will not respond when a button is pressed until Hold is deactivated.

COPY FILES

COPY FILES TO AND FROM THE PLAYER

After you have connected the player to the computer it will automatically

appear as a Removable Disk, then you can easily copy ﬁles to the player.

1. Connect the player to the computer using the USB cable.

2. The player will automatically appear as a Removable Disk.

3. Copy ﬁles to the Removable Disk just like you would to any other folder on

the computer.

If the computer can’t ﬁnd the player see MISCELLANEOUS / TROUBLE

USB MEMORY

MP-500 functions as a so called UMS (Universal Mass Storage) which allows

you to easily save and transfer ﬁles from your computer. This allows you to

store all kind of ﬁletypes on your player, even the kind of ﬁles the player can’t

play or show.

WINDOWS 98

To be able to copy ﬁles to the player using Windows 98 you will have to install

the appropriate drivers ﬁrst. These are available at www.jensofsweden.com.
